Handling Difficult Conversations

“He keeps doing this thing that makes me SO MAD!” “I have to give her some difficult feedback and I’m dreading it.” “I need to make a change in the organization, and he is not going to like it.” Delivering a correction or bad news is ESSENTIAL to keeping a workplace healthy! But, that doesn’t mean it’s easy. In Handling Difficult Conversations, you will learn to:
- Turn tensions into opportunities for building respect and change
- Figure out what is fact and what is the “story” that’s feeding the conflict
- Some scripts for opening hard conversations
- The secret to getting Gen Z to hear critical feedback without panicking
- Getting past your own fears about upsetting someone else
