Group Coaching for Women Leaders
Registration closes April 14
How do you know what’s next?
How different are you today than you were a year ago? Five years ago?
We change so much in a year.
Let me ask you a question: were you intentional about your growth over the last year? Or did life just happen to you?
Maybe the answer is a little of both.
It’s going to happen again, you know: another year will pass. Do you want to be in the same spot, having these same feelings and frustrations for another year? Or do you want to be more intentional in your growth and give yourself the best chance at becoming more of who you want to be?
If it’s the latter, join our Group Coaching For Women Leaders starting in May. It’s a great place to meet other women leaders who are looking for a small group to confide in, share issues with, get advice from, and even make friends with.
Together, we will work out a personalized plan for you! And we will hold you accountable to it, support you through it, and cheer you on.
Here are the details:
May – October (the group will set the exact day to meet each month based on schedules)
Included:
- Monthly meetings for 90 minutes (we will meet in person and can include some virtual meetings when schedules are packed)
- Three 1:1 private coaching sessions with Cynthia
- A place to be dream, be vulnerable, and be held accountable to growing as a leader
- Leadership Style Assessment
- Power and Likeability Assessment
- Private Facebook Group for topic discussions in between
- Size is limited so we can all have a chance to talk and get to know each other
What are the meetings like?
The purpose of this Group Coaching is to help you form friendships with fellow female leaders outside of your company… women that you can be really honest with, whom you can give advice to, and from whom you can receive help and support.
If I’ve learned anything, it’s that when you gather a group of savvy leaders together, the answer is in the room. We will tee up a topic each month (some I will set, some you will set). I will deliver teaching on the subject, and then we will facilitate discussions, make plans, ask advice, and hold each other accountable for growing!
Topics can include:
Where are you now?
Before you design your future self, you need to understand where you are now. How full is your work tank? Your fun tank? Your health tank? Your love/relationship tank? Where do you need to put more energy in the next year? Less energy?
What’s your vision for yourself and your work?
Who do you dream of being? How can you be truer to your unique philosophies and values? What would your life look like if you were doing the things you loved and were feeling successful? We want to get clear on that vision!
Managing up
How can you have the most productive relationship with a good manager? How about with a manager with whom you don’t mesh? This workshop will give you ideas to deal with your particular leader. We will workshop your relationship with your manager and you will leave with specific relationship-building tools that will protect and promote you!
What’s your big goal here? Leading from your values
Do you lead from your values? Have you defined them? How can you manifest those values in your actions as a leader? This workout will tackle helping you get clearer on your values and developing a plan to begin taking those values from internal to external so your team can learn from them.
Getting recognized for your work
What are some ways to promote yourself without seeming arrogant? In the end, we are all responsible for our own career paths and tracking our accomplishments. How can you develop a system to track your wins throughout the year and make them known in a way that people will delight in (not recoil from!). Set the tone and teach your teams how to respectfully advocate for and promote themselves as well.
Are you more Powerful or Likeable?
Being persuasive means achieving a balance of perceived power (credibility and sway) with likeability (warmth and goodwill). Take the assessment and learn ways to increase your credibility or your perceived warmth and develop a plan to work on your weaker side this month.
Culture plan
Culture is built through conversations and relationships. Each encounter you have with a team member is an opportunity to build (or tear down) productive culture. Use this hour to build out a monthly plan to build/reinforce the culture you want on your team. We will discuss basic instructional design and help you find ways to deliberately reinforce the culture you want to build inside your team.
Managing your energy
Let’s get some back! What time of day do you work best? What are you spinning your wheels on? What can you delegate? Track your day and share some best practices on how you manage your energy to tackle the steepest hills.
Developing new habits
We will talk research behind making enduring changes in your life and then hold you accountable.
Leadership style assessment and results
What is your style and how does it help or hurt you? We all tend to approach others the way we like to be approached (preferred style), but not everyone is like us. What are the other styles, and how can you adapt to make someone’s way easier instead of being an obstacle to them? Conversely, how can you make your style known so that others have an “operational guide” to working with you?
Developing your team’s bench strength
Is your team strong enough to operate without you? In this workshop, we will identify whose hand you are grabbing next to propel forward in the race and plan how to develop their leadership skills over the year.
Presentation skills
Whether in person or on web cam, people draw conclusions about you and your company from how well (or poorly!) you communicate. This topic is really a two-day training to learn: How to open a presentation to hook the listener, build credibility, organize your main points using Quick Models, bring your data to life through elaboration techniques and storytelling, handle difficult questions, closing with a clear call to action, and, most importantly, making your body behave and look “natural” when you are freaking out. But, if you only have two hours, pick one of these topics and we will polish you right up.
Investment:
- $2,700 for the 6-month program (pay $450 a month or all at once)
